2021 Maryland State Fair
The 2021 Holstein show was held September 3 in the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD. The judge this year was Mike Duckett from Rudolph, Wisconsin. Mike operates his family farm, Duckett Holsteins. The 1st place 5yr old, Underground Adeline, was crowned Grand Champion of the 2021 Holstein show. Adeline is exhibited by Glamourview and Easton Holsteins. She was also the Senior Champion. Runner up to her was the 1st place 3yr old and your intermediate champion, Blondin T&L Avalanche Angelina. Also exhibited by Glamourview of Walkersville, MD. Congratulations to Gene Iager, Emily & Craig Walton and the crew from Glamourview for exhibiting the Grand & Reseve Grand champion bovines.
Junior Champion was the 1st place winter calf, Pheasant Echo’s Ana Diana-Red, exhibited by Trinity Miller of Pheasant Echo’s farm in Westminster, MD. Pheasant Echo’s Ana Diana-Red swept the Holstein shows as Junior Champion, as she also won the banner of the red & white show. Reserve Junior Champion was exhibited by Katie Darnell of KY, the first place winter yearling, McWilliams Warrior Raine. Premier breeder and exhibitor both were awarded to the Schwartzbeck family of Peace & Plenty Farms in Union Bridge, MD.
